Travelling Copies

    Hello!! It's been a bit since I've last updated. 

    I've been thinking about sending Mr. Geeky through the mail like Flat Stanley to my friends and to National Parks. But I was really nervous about losing him in the mail or if people don't send him back. I'm pretty much too attached to him to mail him out. But then I had the idea to draw another copy of him where he's wearing a traveling outfit and just use that one. That way he can be in many places at once.

I basically used a scan I had made of him awhile ago and drew over top of it. So he basically looks the same besides the outfit. I like that I gave him a different outfit so that I can tell between my friend's pictures and mine. 

Basically a perfect copy! I decided to make him digital so that it would be easier to edit him if needed and easier to make more of him. 

I mailed him to my Instagram friend Carolyn and to Wolf Trap National Park (https://www.nps.gov/wotr/index.htm) as the first locations.

He has made it to Wolf Trap but I haven't heard from them yet. He did make it to my friend and I have heard from her. She made a post on her Instagram showing that she got him. 

She's going on a camping trip this weekend which I'm very happy I caught her in time. I can't wait to see how his camping trip goes! She asked if she could pass him off to some friends and of course I said yes! I can't wait to see where else he goes to. 

Mr. Geeky is happy that he gets to stay with me while his copies get to travel for him. He said he can still experience what they do so he still knows what it's like to travel. 

I can't wait to see what pictures the copies come back with :)
