Travelling Copies

      8/25/23     Hello!! It's been a bit since I've last updated.      I've been thinking about sending Mr. Geeky through the mail like Flat Stanley to my friends and to National Parks. But I was really nervous about losing him in the mail or if people don't send him back. I'm pretty much too attached to him to mail him out. But then I had the idea to draw another copy of him where he's wearing a traveling outfit and just use that one. That way he can be in many places at once.  Here's a W.I.P pic from when I was drawing him on my iPad I basically used a scan I had made of him awhile ago and drew over top of it. So he basically looks the same besides the outfit. I like that I gave him a different outfit so that I can tell between my friend's pictures and mine.  Basically a perfect copy! I decided to make him digital so that it would be easier to edit him if needed and easier to make more of him.  I mailed him to my Instagram friend...

Went to a Big Time Rush Concert!!

  7/14/23 Hi guys!! Sorry that it has been awhile since I last made a post here. A lot has been going on lately. I had surgery on my ear back on June 23rd. I'm doing better now and the dr said that I am healing well which is good. On July 7th, me and my sister went to Bethel Woods in Bethel, NY to see Big Time Rush live! This is the second time we've seen them and it was a lot of fun!! I love going to their shows, they really do put on a good show. We did get a thunderstorm which caused the show to get delayed for an hour or two but luckily it cleared and we ended up seeing the show.  Here are some pictures I got while there. I hope you enjoy! They were all taken on my iPhone SE. I'm so happy my phone didn't die this time.    We went to the Walkway on the Hudson 2 days before my surgery so I'll post those pictures soon. :) -Laura

Some pretty flowers in our backyard!

  6/6/23 Hello!! We've been planting some flowers in our backyard and it's been really cool to see them start to bloom! They all look so pretty and I wanted to share some pictures I took of the flowers :)                                                                       Some really pretty Pansies. One of my favorite flowers. We've planted some sunflower seeds from around 2015 and they have started to sprout!!       6/4/23     Hello again!! Today me and my sister went to Splash Down Beach Waterpark in Fishkill, NY! It was pretty chilly but there wasn't a lot of people which made it very relaxing. I had the whole lazy river to myself!!  6/4/23 Most people stayed by the wave pool. Usually this place is full and the seats are all taken but this time we were able to get a front row seat!  I only got one picture of Mr. Geeky because it was very cloudy and I didn't want him to get wet and all the employees walking around made me nervous to take pictures lol. I did get a couple with my Sony Cybershot camera though: Sony Cybershot DSC-W800 Yeah as you can see, it was pretty cloudy out there. We do have season passes so hopefully in the future I can get more pics of Mr. Geeky there.  The water park ended up closing early so we went down to the mall nearby. I love walking around this mall. Hello!! Welcome to my blog! (first post)

  5/27/2023 Hello everyone!! My name is Laura and I wanted to make a blog for fun where I post pictures of my paper dolls, regular dolls, and plushies. I mostly will be posting my Sagan Hawkes paper doll which I call "Flat Mr. Geeky" because I was inspired by Flat Stanley. But I'll post pictures of some others too.  I've been taking doll photos since I was a kid and it was how I got into photography. I love taking pictures and I finally decided to share them somewhere.  Here's a picture of Mr. Geeky when I first made him with some of my trinkets in the background: (Oct. 9, 2022) (Dec 5,2022) I made this paper doll because I was very sad the Sagan Hawkes plushie didn't get funded.
